Feng Chia University won 2 awards in the 2021 APP Mobile Application Innovation Competition-Taiwan Finals
The "2021 APP Mobile Application Innovation Competition" has entered its fifth year. Affected by the epidemic, the Taiwan finals were held on August 10 in a fully online manner. The results of the competition were announced. Feng Chia University won the second prize and the best work awards for "no team" and "supporting the Berlin Wall" respectively. The top three winning teams will represent Taiwan in the online Greater China finals in October.
The works of the two winning teams of our school this year are all outstanding, and their design concepts are both creative, current affairs, and technical. The second prize "Without this team" is a combination of three seniors from the Department of Information Technology Huang Ziteng, Yu Ruilin, Wen Ziying, and Wen Ziying. The work "Visible on the Screen" is specially designed for the visually impaired. They avoid dangerous APPs when they go out and walk, and use optical radar with the recognition function visible on the touch screen to recognize objects more accurately and quickly, and instantly notify the visually impaired of the recognition information needed, which can detect the surrounding area in a wide range. Road conditions and dangers; use mobile apps instead of traditional guide sticks.

The masterpiece "Supporting the Berlin Wall" is composed of 3 students from Information Second Edition Lin Qijun, Zhang Chen, and Xu Youqi. The work "Magic Drums" uses Action Classifier and ML Model to achieve drumming and has two different modes. (Practice mode, creation mode), you can record your perfect creation in real-time, and there are various models for users to choose from. No need to spend a lot of money to buy musical instruments, let alone worry about no place at home. As long as you put on the headphones, you can be quiet in the world of music alone!
